This was done purely as a gift to a friend and not out of any particular fascination with the subject, but I found that she had a really great set of icons when all was said and done. I might update / post more, but 73 is a pretty awesome start, and I missed last week's annual posting - so here this one is, in all its glory.

I have to the best of my knowledge never come across an icon set for Michael Chiklis, which is a shame. He's in that territory I think of guys who aren't good looking enough to play a young student at Hogwarts or whatever. That being said, I think he's got a great face. So I give you 59 icons of his majesty. Most of these images were taken from Google Image Search, and some of them were sort of low quality, so I apologize in advance if some of them are not as beautiful as we would all like them to be. Eric Bana is one of those types that always makes me think "warrior and a poet" or "scholar and badass". There's a very wise and knowing look in his eyes most of the time, something that seems to confound the normal perception and inspire thoughts of something that goes beyond. Before it sounds like I've got a mancrush on the guy (I do) I should tell you that ALL (yes, all) of the images for these icons came from the lovely Eric Bana Online. I love it when I find all of my base images in one place.

Matthew Fox is a PB of mine, so there's a little self-interest involved. Just a little. I think he has an interesting face - depending on the photoshoot, he can look worn or young or wise beyond his years. Sometimes all three at once. This isn't really a complete set, as that would make me want to blow my brains out. There are definitely more coming, probably from Lost screencaps. For now I give you a sampling of photoshoots - everything from Entertainment Weekly to his Saturday Night Live photoshoot. All of these images were obtained from Matthew Fox Dot Net.

Seal is another tough PB to find images of. I found a couple of sites with some good images, but most of these were found using Google Image Search. Anyway, he has a very complex face in my mind. And if you were curious - the facial scarring is caused by a form of lupus. Sometimes, it actually is lupus.

Henry Rollins could do with a comprehensive website. I didn't keep track of all the various places I got these pictures, and since most of the images on Mr. Rollins' website are terrible I did have to search far and wide. Google Image Search is your friend, people. Part of me is convinced this guy is on 'roids, and part of me is just amazed at how awesome he looks. And sounds.

Now we come to my favorite icon subject ever. You don't see many Bruce Willis icon sets out there on the internet - probably because Bruce Willis doesn't have very many properly organized fansites dedicated to him, and he doesn't get a lot of his photoshoots scanned or otherwise spread around. Meanwhile, Mary Elizabeth Winstead has fifty damn websites. Someone explain the logic of this to me, I'm fuzzy on it! Anyway, icons #1 - #21 are from images I got from Bruce Willis PL, which is the most awesome Bruce Willis fansite out there and yet sadly sucky all at once. Those are ads, movie premieres, screen captures from Ocean's Twelve and promotional images from Live Free Or Die Hard. Icons #22 - #28 were created with screencaps from Live Free Or Die Hard that I obtained from MEW Online, which is sad considering I had and have no plans to icon her ever. Icons #29 - #47 were made with screencaps from Live Free Or Die Hard which I found in the Random Caps community on LiveJournal.

Here we go with another sizable set of icons, this time of Ralph Fiennes. It's apparently become a niche of mine to do icons for people that don't have many - who wants another five sets of James McAvoy, anyway? Anyway, Ralph is another one of those pesky personal interest icon sets - don't you just hate that? He's got a very interesting face, I think, goes from serious to silly and back again very quickly. Always somehow managing to look just a little unbalanced. I don't mind unbalanced, though. It's kind of a benefit. All of the images I used here were found at Ralph Fiennes Corner, but you have to register to access the gallery. With that said..

Back with even more icons. Today our subject is Mr. Aaron Eckhart, star of wonderful films like Thank You For Smoking and The Dark Knight. He was also, quite sadly, in Paycheck - but you can't hold that against him can you? Anyway, today all of my thanks go to Aaron Eckhart Online. I don't know if it's the only Aaron Eckhart site out there or not, but they had quite a few quality photos and it was nice to find them all in one place for once. So, thanks to them, you have these wonderful icons to enjoy. The thought of doing icons for Aaron Eckhart did not occur to me until the wonderful Q suggested it. What I found was that most communities didn't icon him - and that's usually the subject I like to icon the most. There's something grim about the way he half-smiles. Not Bruce Willis grim, but grim.
